A Tiny Dose of Delight: Start your year with something small and good.

Jan 06, 2026

January has a funny way of adding more pressure.
New year, new urgency. New goals. New… everything.

We know the last thing you need this week is more on your list or another thing to work on as you get back into the swing after the holiday blur.

So we invite you to try something gentler this January.
Instead of a traditional resolution, try each day to have one small moment that’s just for delight. Pure and simple.

Not because it’s productive.
Not because it moves you toward a goal.
Just because it feels good. Because it grounds you in the moment. Because it gives you a healthy hit of dopamine without the hustle and bustle.

Maybe it’s that favorite song that just happens to be on the radio at the right moment.
Maybe it’s that genuine belly laugh your kid gives you when they aren’t being self-conscious.
Maybe it’s that first sip of your favorite winter coffee in the morning.

Delight is a tiny interruption of joy in the middle of your regularly scheduled life.
And your nervous system will take every bit of it.

When did you decide that: Maybe it's been true for long enough

So here's a question:When was the last time you updated the standard...

One hundred little reminders that life doesn't have to be lived quite so hard. Over these past hundred Tuesdays, we've shared a lot of ideas. That peace isn't waiting at the end of the to do list. That feelings are messengers, not dictators. That validation ...
Promotion denied: The best news you didn't know you needed
One of the sneakiest ways we make life harder than it needs to be is by accidentally taking responsibility for jobs that were never ours.  And we’re not talking about doing our teenager’s laundry for them.  We're talking about emotional jobs. The invisible ones we assign ourselves without even realizing it.  We tell someone how we feel... then think it's our job to make sure they understand per...
